Postcard from France!

Look at what I got in the mail today!

Before Lauren left for France I asked her to send me a postcard and true to her word here it is.

 

She wrote that on her first week in France she visited the Chateau Chenonceau shown on the card.  She was enthralled by its fairytale-like characteristics and I can see why.  I googled the chateau and I'm pretty sure I let out an audible "wow" under my breath.  It looks amazing.  I'm so happy she got to see such gorgeous grounds in person.

I realized it's Valentine's Day today, and I haven't sent any valentines!  I don't believe Valentine's Day is just for lovers, I think it's a day for love in general.  Thus, I have a number of people I want to send valentines too because I love them!  I ran out and got some last minute valentine cards and am now furiously writing my sentiments to friends and getting them all ready to be mailed out. :)

So see, friends, I love you. 

You're valentines will be a little late, that's all. :)

Love is in the Mail

      Today was kind of an overwhelming day due to school-homework, plans for next year, making up assignments, etc. (ick!)  So imagine my excitement at the fun mail I received today.  It definitely brightened my day- always a welcome surprise.  I love to hear from people I love, simple as that.  Plus,...there was even a letter from boyfriend, the first one I've gotten since I've been at college, which was exciting.  I opened it on the spot. :D

Love is in the Mail

Sometimes I send boyfriend kooky things like this in the mail.  I think he likes them. 

Currently we're trying to come up with Halloween costumes, preferably ones that go together (yes, we're cheesy like that!)  Any ideas are welcome!

Today I've been missing Spenser, so I thought I'd send him a postcard.  I love sending mail-cards, letters, postcards, notes, etc.  (Plus, I love receiving them as well!)  This particular postcard has a picture of the band Blink 182 on the front.  I know, not very romantic, but perfect for my rock star boyfriend.  I picked up a bunch of cool band postcards when I was in Gatlinburg, Tennessee this summer.  Usually I like to put a quote or song lyrics on postcards and this one is no exception.  Hope he enjoys it and lucky for me, I get to see him this weekend! My Spenser-missing shan't be long!
