This Weekend

this weekend I saw:

trees in sweaters.
an old kodak brownie.*
a pretty bicycle.
a couple crossing the street on a blustery day.

*The brownie was the first camera that really popularized casual, everyday photography.  Brownies were sold affordably for a dollar.  Then, once you shot your photos, you'd send it in to kodak who would develop the film and send it back restocked for more shooting.  Now here's the best part:  So this camera is being distributed to homes all over the nation...what are they taking pictures of?  Their feet!  It's true! Pictures facing downwards at one's own feet were one of the most popular types of brownie photos.

P.S.
^^I also saw the cutest wookie onesie.^^
So if you know anyone who is a total nerd and
needs some adorable clothes for their little one, let me know. ;)

Happy Sunday! xo

wheelin' about

Tonight Adele and I took what was my first bike ride of the season.
It was such a perfect evening.

I think we covered just about every neighborhood, but it seemed to go fast
(probably because of the good conversation!)  After I got home I realized
we had been riding for an hour and a half.
(To me, this is impressive.)

I can't wait to get out on my bike more.
Summer just can't come fast enough.

Sunday Bike Ride

On Sunday afternoon, I went on a bike ride.  It was gorgeous out and in certain spots, I rode over a carpet of leaves.  I think I'd be quite happy if I walked on a carpet of leaves every day.  (Maybe I should move to the forest?)

There was even a moment in here
<-- where the leaves started falling and the wind gracefully swept them around my bicycle.  It was beautiful and awe-inspiring.

Here's to hoping you had a beautiful Sunday as well!  Get outside!

                            love,

p.s. i'm all caught up!
